As the world's largest surviving carnivorous marsupial, the Tasmanian devil relies on powerful jaws and robust teeth. This adaptation allows them to consume entire carcasses, including bones and fur, which prevents waste. Their dark fur provides excellent camouflage during nocturnal hunting and scavenging trips across Tasmanian forests.
